About the case.

In collaboration with TikTok, we launched a hyper targeted hashtag challenge #thuisopvakantie in the Netherlands. Within a week, we reached over 4,5 million Dutch people. Totally, the campaign reached over 31 million people in The Netherlands. 

We also got featured twice on the largest Dutch news program for kids and teens in the Netherlands, showcasing multiple of our videos.

Our strategy.

To boost the awareness of our creators, we created a challenge where they had to be creative in creating the content. The challenge en content style was suitable to the Dutch market. 

This was the first localized hashtag challenge for TikTok in the Netherlands. At the same time, most of the creators had to come up with creative solutions to relate to the topic.

Let's talk numbers.

Over 31 million people have seen our campaign in the Netherlands. At this time, TikTok had around 3 million users in The Netherlands, which means that every user saw our campaign around 10 times. 

Within days, thousands of people created creative content on the challenge, resulting in many PR coverage in the Netherlands. 

The campaign was an educational campaign we organized for the creators signed with our management arm.
